1) Upto and including the Annual Report for 2010, these main categories were regarded as multilateral assistance. In order to follow OECD guidelines, the activities were reported as bilateral from 2011 onwards. The bilateral activities comprise core contributions to international NGOs and earmarked contributions to projects and programmes that are implemented by multilateral organisations.

2) For these multilateral organisations, OECD/DAC has established a co-efficient for how large a proportion of core contributions can be regarded as development assistance, based on a review of the particular organisation's activities. The table shows the specified percentage of the Danish core contributions.

3) in the final statement to DAC for 2010, only core contributions to multilateral organisations are reported as multilateral assistance. This distinction was not fully implemented at the time of the Annual Report's publication, resulting in a discrepancy between these statements. Presented here is the final DAC statement.
